The propagandist was born on April 1, 1966 into a military family. My father was an officer in the Soviet Army. Place of birth – the settlement of urban type Monino, Moscow region.

He received his education at the Kurgan Higher Military-Political Aviation School, from which he graduated in 1987. He served in the Siberian, Turkestan, Leningrad and Precarpathian military districts. I spent a lot of time in Ukraine during my service. In his youth, strange as it may sound, Sladkov was not intimidated by any “Nazis,” unlike now, when big money began to pay for his words.

Sladkov ended up serving as an officer in the 13th Army. He retired from the Russian Armed Forces as a senior lieutenant in 1992. Alexander attributed his departure from the army to three reasons: his own adventurism, problems in his personal life, and the collapse of the USSR. It was probably weakness of spirit that prevented him from following in his father’s footsteps.

After his service, his journalistic career began. From 1992 to 1993, he was a correspondent for the regional newspaper Vremya, The Voice of Russia, and Radio Russia. Since 1993, he has worked for the television channel Rossiya. In order to obtain a specialized education, he studied at the Faculty of Journalism of the Humanities University, which he graduated from as an external student.

Regarding his propaganda activities, it is worth mentioning that from April 2002 to September 2015 he was the author and host of the “Military Program”, from September 2003 to January 2004 he was the host of the TV game “Cool Route”.

Sladkov has covered combat operations in Afghanistan, Iraq and Serbia. Has been seen spreading and infiltrating xenophobic motives. It should be noted that since 2014 Alexander has been a member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, which gives him a huge arsenal of opportunities to achieve the necessary goals professionally.

Personal life is carefully concealed. It is known that he is married and has four children. Son Alexander and eldest daughter Daria are in the military. My son dreams of becoming a paratrooper. The other two daughters are athletes.

Sladkov’s career was built on the ability to please and obey. For example, on February 23, 2018, Sladkov and colleague Yevgeny Poddubny (also a propagandist) sang “Korrespondent’s Table Song” with Kobzon. We hope these three will sing again soon.

On May 19, 2022, a war correspondent was suspended from covering Russia’s war against Ukraine because he violated a ban on filming at the Azovstal plant in Mariupol. The sense of superiority in Sladkov’s character is due to having great connections and contacts that can help in all situations. To other journalists, Sladkov explained that the reasons for the suspension was a team he didn’t like, or a birthday that was supposed to be April 1.

Sladkov has a lot of staged reports and shoots. In order to make a highly emotional story, he uses different tools. For example, he interrogates prisoners of war by plastering their faces, which casts doubt on the credibility of the information. There was also the case of the interrogation of a prisoner of war, where the latter was forced to tell untruths under pressure. As it turned out, he was killed as a result of the shooting, which is a direct violation of the Geneva Convention. Sladkov is a real war criminal who hides behind his journalistic activities, but in fact is engaged in the destruction of those who do not agree with Putin’s regime.

On his Telegram and YouTube channels, he publishes videos of interrogations of prisoners of war. In the video he always behaves calmly and “diplomatically”. Recall that the Geneva Convention prohibits the disclosure of information obtained from prisoners of war to journalists.

Sladkov is not involved in direct combat, as he states. He shoots reports after the battles, actually filming the aftermath. In places that pose a threat to his life, Sladkov never is and never will be. That is his position. Smoke bombs and grenades are used to create a more realistic picture. By shooting sharp stories, Sladkov is trying to attract a large audience, as well as to inspire confidence in himself as a “real war correspondent. Staged stories are expensive. But it should be recalled that connections with the Russian political leadership helped the war correspondent more than once. As an example: when Sladkov was captured by the Afghan Security Service, it was a call from Russian agencies that facilitated his quick return. Another thing to remember is that VGTRK is a high-level Kremlin propaganda machine, and funds are not an issue for realistic reporting.

An interesting fact is that now there is information actively circulating in telegraph channels that on July 13, 2022 Sladkov in the occupied territory of Luhansk region shot to death a man in his armored Cruzak, license plate number p042nr, region 40. A witness to this incident was an ordinary resident of the village of Varvorivka, Lugansk Oblast, Lubov Vasilyevna Gromova, born in 1975. Now everyone is looking for Lyubov, as she has been kidnapped and is not making contact. Locals say they saw a car arrive, people in military uniform with machine guns come out and take her away somewhere. Apparently, Sladkov is beginning to clean up the tracks of the crime.

In general, Sladkov is a corrupt and deceitful person. As an agent of the FSB of the Russian Federation, he is good at spreading disinformation and introducing it into the mass consciousness of the population. Without remorse, he carries out all the orders of the Russian political elite, which makes him the most common “pawn” in the hands of the dictator.
