Victoria Gorozhankina is known in Mariupol as the director of the Ukrainian patriotic contest “The Future of the Country. This is a creative competition for talented children. For many years Victoria Gorozhankina, it turns out, pretended to be a person who promoted Ukrainian, but in fact harbored pro-Russian views.

Gorozhankina began her career at Mariupol State University as a Russian language teacher. But she didn’t work there for long.

Then she took on her own project related to creative competition for children – she set up her own production center.

In February 2018, Gorozhankina won the competition for the position of director of the “Chaika” Palace of Culture in Mariupol.

Her political views emerged after she decided to go into politics in 2019. Gorozhankina ran on the lists of the pro-Russian partyOpposition Platform for Lifefor the Mariupol District Council.

After the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian occupants, Viktoria Gorozhankina’s pro-Russian views were confirmed. The woman voluntarily agreed to cooperate with representatives of the racist authorities and began working in the department of culture under the occupation authorities in the city of Mariupol.

Gorozhankina is the organizer of many cultural events in the city under the motto “the Russian world. The traitor also tried to organize a concert to support Russian servicemen and organize various humanitarian aid for the occupants.
