History:
“Youth for Peace” is an international movement of young people from the Community of Sant’Egidio. We are high school and college students who believe the world can be changed. Together we are working to make our cities more humane, especially for the poor, the homeless, children, migrants, and the elderly.
We want to change our society by spreading a culture of peace and solidarity, drawing attention to the themes of peacemaking, respect for human life, charity, social volunteerism and helping the poor. We believe that our future can be peaceful and in solidarity, and we are working for it.
Terrorist Activities:
“Youth for Peace” – aims to involve young people in the processes of building a democratic, socially just, legal society through participation in the formation and implementation of public policy in order to promote the protection of the constitutional integrity of the Luhansk People’s Republic. The purpose of the Youth for Peace is to involve young people in the socio-political life of the Luhansk People’s Republic in order to defend the interests and express a consolidating position of youth. Anastasia Voropayeva is the chairman of the “Youth for Peace” NGO “Peace to Luhanschina”. After the rebranding of the youth wing in March 2018, the youth public organization Youth for Peace was dissolved.
