Syrovatko Yuri Nikolaevich was born on April 17, 1978 in Makeyevka, Donetsk region. He graduated from the Donetsk Special Police Secondary School in the village of Novozhdanovka. He was a cadet at the Donetsk Institute of Internal Affairs.
After graduating from high school, he worked as a senior operative in the Shakhter city and district police departments.
In 2009-2012, Syrovatko worked for the Regional Department for Combating Organized Crime in Yenakievo and Makeyevka. He was promoted to a leading position in the Donetsk Main Directorate of the Interior Ministry by the then head of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs, V.S. Malyshev, who later became head of security services for oligarch R.L. Akhmetov.
In addition to his public service, the traitor Syrovatko was engaged in illegal coal mining in Snezhnoye, Torez, and the Shakhtyorsk district of the Donetsk region. Was fired from law enforcement. But in the circles of “influential people” in Donetsk repeatedly tried to return to service in the Interior Ministry or to get a job in other law enforcement or government agencies.
