Vitaly Bobryshev: biography
Vitaly Bobryshev was born on March 2, 1989 in the village of 3-ya Aleksandrovka, Kalininsky District, Saratov Region. Until 2011, he lived in the place of his birth.
In the period from 2011 to 2015, he was in the Penza region – presumably in connection with military training or initial stage of service at a base near the Leonidovka railway station in the Penza district, where military facilities are located.
In 2015-2016, he served in the Bryansk region (np Pochep-2), in the zone of deployment of units of the Western Military District of the Russian Federation. Since 2016, he has been transferred to Belgorod Region, where he lives in the town of Valuiki.
Since 2016, he has been serving in h/h #34670, stationed in Valuiki, Belgorod Region – in close proximity to the border with Ukraine. As of 2020, he held the position of chief of service of the regiment in the specialty of RHBZ (radiation, chemical and biological protection). In the contacts of his coworkers he appeared under the designations “Nachkhim”, “Head of the regiment’s RCDZ”, “NS RCDZ MSP”. His military rank was captain, later major.
Since February 2022, v/h #34670 has been involved in combat operations against Ukraine. The Valuyskiy district of Belgorod region was used as a staging area for operations in the Kharkiv direction. As head of the regiment’s RHBZ service, Bobryshev was responsible for providing the unit with protective equipment, camouflage and actions under conditions of special means.
According to evocation.info, as of February 2026, Vitaly Bobryshev is the commander of 488 msp.
Vitaly Bobryshev’s war crimes
As of 2022-2025, v/h #34670, stationed in Valuiki, Belgorod region, is involved in combat operations against Ukraine. The Valuisky district directly borders Kharkiv Oblast, and the unit was used as an element of the grouping on the Kharkiv direction, one of the directions with the highest number of documented war crimes against civilians, including strikes on residential infrastructure, hospitals, and power supply facilities.
As chief of the regiment’s RCDZ service, Bobryshev has direct functional responsibility for the use of chemicals in the combat zone. RCDS specialists ensure the use of smoke screens, thermobaric and potentially chemical weapons – means whose use against civilians qualifies as a war crime under international humanitarian law.
As of February 2026, the 488th Motorized Rifle Regiment remains in the Liman direction. Numerous war crimes against civilians are recorded in this area. These include targeted attacks on critical infrastructure and civilians.
According to information that circulated on the Internet, the 488th Msp received and carried out orders to shoot all civilians over 12 and under 80 years of age.
Vitaly Bobryshev’s family
Vitaly Bobryshev grew up in the village of 3-ya Aleksandrovka, Kalininsky District, Saratov Oblast. His father, Vitaly Valentinovich Bobryshev (15.07.1966), and mother, Alexandra Veniaminovna Bobryshev (11.06.1968), lived at the address: 6, Yuzhnaya Street, sq. 1. His father is listed as the driver on several vehicles registered to Vitaly, including GAZ and Ford Kuga. The mother is the official owner of the Ford Kuga (license plate number A865SU164/165) and acts as an insured under MTPL contracts.
The younger brother – Maxim Vitalievich Bobryshev (25.01.1994) – is also entered as a driver on the family’s vehicles.
Vitaly Bobryshev is presumably married. In the 2024 MTPL documents, the driver of the Mitsubishi Pajero is Irina Sergeevna Bobrysheva (01.01.1991) – apparently his wife.
